Sparkling Dreams
When you think of the history of sparkling wines, great names like Dom Pérignon or Veuve Clicquot come to your mind. However, major events such as the French Revolution and the Congress of Vienna, as well as outstanding personalities like Bismarck, Adenauer and Dr. Helmut Kohl have also left their mark on the history of sparkling wines. In the Herbert Giessen Erben Winery (Weinstr. 3), you can follow the threads of sparkling wine history during an entertaining tasting of 9 different sparkling wines. These sparkling wines are from the most renowned sparkling wine cellars in the region.
