Historic dates by themselves can be quite boring. To fully understand history it is important to get to know the stories of the people, the buildings, the wine and the local celebrations.
Immerse yourself in all the stories, comedies, tragedies and amusing anecdotes of the wine town of Deidesheim. On each Saturday (May to October) they all enter the stage once again – lazy King Wenzel, the Prince Bishops, the Knight of Böhl (also called ‘Wicked Brain’), the wine barons and even Napoleon.
