Kraut- und Rüben- Radweg durch Niederkirchen und Meckenheim

The Kraut- und Rüben Cycle Path has recently been marked with completely new signs. The tour of 137 km leads through beautiful natural sceneries and past numerous wineries and farms offering their agricultural products. It runs almost parallel to the German Wine Route Cycle Path, but is flatter and thus better suited for families and casual cyclists.
As the cycle path runs directly through the wine communities of Niederkirchen and Meckenheim where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, they are ideal starting points for the tour.  

A tip from Tourist GmbH:
You can also do the tour one-way and return to your starting place by train.
